Manchester City win the race for Republic of Ireland youth talent Tara O’Hanlon in the dying moments of the transfer window’s deadline day.

O’Hanlon earned her first senior call up to the Ireland Women’s National Team in April of 2023, and began to garner significant attention from top clubs. Chelsea were said to have shown significant interest in the 18 year-old, but O’Hanlon will be heading to North England to play under Gareth Taylor at Manchester City.
