The Matildas star marks the third signing of the winter window for the Hammers, Rehanne Skinner having already penned deals with USWNT midfielder Kristie Mewis, and Canadian defender Shelina Zadorsky.

Gorry’s arrival sees Skinner’s Matildas armoury double their advantage in Dangenham, the 31 year-old set to join Australian teammate Mackenzie Arnold in East London.

Gorry proves to be an imperative signing for Skinner’s side, as the Hammers have recently encountered a troubled trot during their 2023/24 campaign in the Barclays Women’s Super League. An experienced midfielder of her calibre will be of large benefit to Rehanne Skinner’s youthful list, and we can be sure to see her in action in the imminent future.
