The 24-year-old was reported to have agreed on pre-contract terms in 2024 and will join after nine years at Manchester City, where she rose to the senior squad through the ranks of the academy.

Whilst at Manchester City, Roebuck registered 126 times appearances across all competitions, won three FA Women’s Cups, as well as three League Cups. Roebuck was part of England’s winning squad during the 2022 Euros, as well as the travelling side during the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023. She was also awarded the Barclays WSL’s Golden Glove for the 2019/20 season.

Speaking in regards to signing with the Spanish giants, Roebuck exclaimed, “I am very excited. I’d been waiting for this chance for a long time. I’m very happy to be here. You could say that now everything fits and this was the perfect time to come.”

“I want to test myself and live a new experience. There’s nowhere better to do that than here, so I’m really grateful to get this opportunity.”

“I like to play with the ball at my feet and this is the perfect team to do that with. I enjoy possession and playing out from the back, so I hope to contribute my style.”

The England international will join the Spanish side on a two-year deal and will be replacing Sandra Paños, who is leaving the Catalan club this summer after nine years.
