London City Lionesses have announced that Georgia Brougham has signed a new deal with the club.
In an official club press release, the side announced that “We’re delighted to announce that Georgia Brougham has signed a one-year contract extension with London City Lionesses.
The ball-playing defender joined from Leicester City in August 2023 and made 26 appearances in the Barclays Women’s Championship, Adobe Women’s FA Cup, and Continental Tyres League Cup last term.”
Speaking with the club in regards to the contract extension, Brougham expressed that “The Club’s vision for the future is incredibly exciting.”
“It was a rebuilding year for us last year, but that experience will spur us on to do better and achieve our ambitions this time.
“I’m a winner, it hurt to be where we were in the table last season, and I just want to keep improving. You never stop learning as a player and, with a new manager coming in, it’s important that I’m able to adapt, advance my game, and become an experienced senior player.”
