Manchester United have confirmed that Lucía García will leave the club at the end of this month, upon the expiry of her contract.
The Spanish international has been a key player for Marc Skinner’s side, helping the Red Devils secure their first piece of major silverware as they lifted the Adobe Women’s FA Cup in May.

“For me, it has been two incredible seasons. I was so happy to have been a part of this team and to have helped the team. We are like a family.
I am going to miss every single piece of Manchester United. All my friends, all the team, all the staff, all the workers here.
I think one of the hardest parts is to leave the fans. I feel the support they give to me. I can feel they love me and I love them.”
The 25-year-old was instrumental as a right-winger for Skinner’s contenders, scoring 16 goals in 60 appearances.
Manchester United “Thanks Lucía for her excellent service and wishes her the best of luck in the next stage of her career.”
