The 21 year-old spent the 2023/24 season on loan with Reading, before now signing with the Saints. Gregory spoke with excitement in regards to her move to the Saints for the 2024/25 season.

She said, “I’m really excited to be a part of it, I think it’s going to be a really exciting year for us as a group. We’ve got a really hard-working and talented group. The ambition of the club is huge, and for me it’s exactly the step I want to take in this part of my career.”

“I think for me, I want to reach the levels I know I can get to, but most importantly for the team to get to the level it can – there’s no limit on it.”

The news arrives with a warm welcome by Saints fans, after the club have said farewell to several key players over recent weeks. Southampton bid farewell to Sophia Pharoah just this morning, after announcements confirming the departures of Ella Morris, Katie Wilkinson, Lexi Lloyd-Smith, Angela Addison, Claudia Walker, Megan Wynne, Laura Rafferty and Beth Howard. Captain Rosie Parnell also recently departed the Saints after announcing her retirement.
