Manchester United have completed the signing of goalkeeper Kayla Rendell on a permanent transfer from Chanpionship side Southampton.

Rendell has signed for the Red Devils for an undisclosed fee, after rising through the ranks of Southampton’s regional talent centre.

The 23-year-old joined Saints at age 15, and became the club’s first ever player to earn a call-up for the Senior England squad.

Rendell made 134 appearances for the south-coast club, and departs a significant part of their history.
