London City Lionesses have secured the signing of Freya Godfrey, on loan from Arsenal for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
The 19-year-old wide player captained England’s U19s in December 2023, scoring in all three of their Algarve Cup fixtures.
Godfrey joined Arsenal at the age of 12, and has made a name for herself as one of the Gunners’ most exciting young prospects.
London City Lionesses will be back in Barclays Women’s Championship action this Sunday as they travel to Portsmouth.
