Laura Wienroither has signed a loan deal with Barclays Women’s Super League opponents Manchester City for the remainder of the season.
The right-back joins the Cityzens within the last remaining minutes of deadline day, having struggled to implement herself into the Gunners set-up over recent weeks.
Wienroither was sidelined for an extended period after rupturing her ACL in 2023, before facing several complications upon her return from injury.
“I’m relieved everything’s done now and I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with people who trust & believe in me,” says Wienroither. “When you have the chance to sign for a big club like City, I don’t think you have to think a lot about it.”
