Sarina Wiegman has named the 23-player squad that will be representing England this summer at Euro 2o25.
Following Millie Bright’s withdrawal from selection in order to prioritise her health, defender Lotte Wubben-Moy has been named in order to bolster England’s defensive options.
Chelsea star Lauren James has been named in the roster, despite a recent injury concern that saw her absent for Chelsea’s Champions League semi-final against Barcelona. Five of her Blues teammates will be on the plane to Switzerland, with Lucy Bronze, Keira Walsh, Niamh Charles, Aggie Beever-Jones and Hannah Hampton all rightfully named in the squad.
Arsenal are the other team dominating the squad list, with six Gunners also named ahead of Euro 2025. Leah Williamson, Beth Mead and Alessia Russo remain as England mainstays, along with loanee Chloe Kelly and young star Michelle Agyemang. The aforementioned Wubben-Moy rounds of Arsenal’s representation on the plane.
Nikita Parris and Missy Bo Kearns are the Lionesses to miss out on the tournament. Kearns, as well as Lucy Parker, Laura Blindkilde Brown and Sophie Baggaley have been named on the standby list.
The Lionesses will face France, Netherlands and Wales in Group D of Euro 2025, beginning their title defence on June 5.
