Manchester City have signed Canadian defender Jade Rose on a permanent deal.

The 22-year-old joins the Cityzens following her time playing for Harvard University Crimson in the Ivy League. Rose has made 26 appearances for the Canada Women’s National Team despite having not yet played professional football.

The Cityzens will be hopeful that Rose can bolster their defence following a struggling campaign during the 2024/25 season, finishing fourth in the Women’s Super League and failing to qualify for European football as a result.
