Arsenal have secured the signing of Chloe Kelly on a permanent deal.
The 27-year-old England forward returns to Arsenal following a successful spell on loan from Manchester City last season. After winning the UEFA Women’s Champions League with the Gunners in May, Kelly will continue to wear the number 18 jersey for the club.
Kelly spent eight years with the North London side during her academy and early professional career. She first joined the Arsenal academy at 12, and made 19 appearances for the first team between 2015 and 2018.
During her time on loan last season, Kelly scored two goals and earned five assists in 13 Arsenal appearances.

“Putting pen to paper on a permanent contract at Arsenal is a standout moment for me”, says Kelly. “Learning from an incredible manager and continuing to build relationships with an excellent team is a journey I’m looking forward to continuing.
“I’m excited for more silverware at this special club and to bring more trophies back to North London to celebrate with our supporters. I’ve always said that Arsenal supporters are the best and to have them on my side, singing my name, means so much to me.”
Kelly has made 53 appearances and scored eight goals for England, including the winner in the 2022’s historic Wembley final. She was also a key memeber of the squad that reached the FIFA Women’s World Cup final in 2023. With Euro 2025 kicking off tonight, Kelly will be looking to further solidify her future status as England legend.
Arsenal manager Renée Slegers says: “I’m delighted that we’ve been able to make Chloe a permanent signing for us. She had a great impact for us and played an important role in what we achieved here last season, and I know she shares our ambition to compete for more.”
The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
