The winner of the 2025 Women’s Ballon d’Or was announced at the ceremony in the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
It was Barcelona and Spain midfielder Aitana Bonmatí who took home the Ballon d’Or for the third consecutive year. Despite losing both the Champions League and Women’s Euros, Bonmatí’s Player of the Tournament campaign saw her named as the best player in women’s football.
The midfielder starred for Barcelona, helping her team to achieve the domestic treble.
